What it does

This 3-in-1 alkaline filter is designed as the final polishing stage after reverse osmosis. RO produces very pure, slightly acidic, low-mineral water; this cartridge raises the pH and reintroduces minerals like calcium and magnesium, giving the water a smoother taste and mouthfeel that many people prefer.

It uses a multi-media blend (alkaline mineral media, calcite, corosex, ceramic, and tourmaline) to adjust pH and add trace minerals. Positioned after the RO membrane and carbon post-filter, it’s a taste-and-mineral enhancement step, not a contaminant-removal filter.

Installation & connection

• Install as the final (last) stage, after the RO membrane and carbon post-filter.
• Select your tubing size; the correct adapters are included.
• Push tubing into each adapter until seated.
• Cold water only.
• Replace every 3–12 months depending on usage and water; if the taste/pH effect fades, it’s time to replace.
