Description
This 4-in-1 Alkaline / ORP / Tourmaline Inline Post Filter is a multi-media polishing filter designed
to be used as the final stage in many reverse osmosis (RO) and water filtration systems.
It is filled with a blend of alkaline mineral media, ORP ceramic media,
tourmaline-based media, and an additional Calcite & Corosex blend to help
condition and balance water after purification.
Multi-Media Blend
- Alkaline mineral media: helps add beneficial minerals back into the water and may increase pH,
improving taste and mouthfeel. - ORP ceramic media: ceramic balls made with natural non-metal mineral components (including tourmaline)
and high-grade clay blended with additional mineral powders. - Tourmaline media: a mineral-based media commonly used in water conditioning and polishing filters.
- Calcite & Corosex media: a calcium carbonate and magnesium oxide blend that helps
enhance alkalinity, support pH adjustment, and improve mineral balance in purified water.
Performance Notes
Performance depends on incoming water chemistry, TDS level, temperature, and flow rate. As a post filter, this cartridge
is intended to polish, condition, and remineralize water after RO or filtration.
Typical Results (may vary)
- pH Enhancement: may increase water pH (commonly up to approximately 8.5–9.5 under typical conditions)
- ORP Influence: may shift ORP (commonly reported ranges around -50 mV to -150 mV, depending on water conditions)
- Mineral Conditioning: may add calcium, magnesium, and trace minerals, improving taste
Health Benefits: Alkaline & ORP Technology
Based on Japanese medical research, Oxidant Reduction Potential (ORP) plays a vital role in supporting overall health, boosting the immune system, and managing chronic conditions. Negative-potential alkaline water helps balance the body’s pH levels while providing powerful antioxidant effects.
Our ORP Ceramic Media reduces the water’s potential to between -150mV and -350mV. This process helps maintain cellular vitality and accelerates metabolism for better energy levels.
Tourmaline: The “Magic Stone” for Detoxification
Tourmaline is a semi-precious mineral renowned for its ability to aid the body’s natural detoxification process. As chronic health issues are often linked to a buildup of toxins, Tourmaline serves as a powerful tool for relief.
It is known to reduce stress, increase mental alertness, and improve circulation through the release of Far Infrared Rays (FIR) and Negative Ions.
The Science of Wellness
-
Far Infrared Rays (FIR): These invisible energy waves penetrate deep into tissues, muscles, and bones to gently soothe and stimulate healing.
-
Negative Ions: Research from Columbia University suggests that negative ions can significantly lighten moods and relieve seasonal depression—similar to the refreshing feeling of standing near a waterfall or a spring thunderstorm—without the side effects of medication.
Additional Benefits
-
Mineral Enrichment: Releases over 15 essential minerals, including Calcium (CaO), Magnesium (MgO), and Potassium ($K_{2}O$).
-
Improved Hydration: Reduces “water clustering,” making it easier for your cells to absorb water and oxygen.
-
Purification: Helps control bacteria growth and increases dissolved oxygen levels in the water.
-
Vitality: Promotes a faster metabolism and a more resilient immune system.

🔧Installation Tips
Tubing Size
- Most RO systems use 1/4″ OD tubing (standard RO size).
- Some countertop RO systems and specialty setups use 3/8″ OD tubing.
- Tubing size refers to the outside diameter (OD) of the tube.
When Do You Need Elbow Adapters?
- Select 3/8″ OD Tubing if your system uses larger tubing.
- We include 2 elbow adapters to connect the inline filter to 3/8″ OD tubing.
✔ No tools required
✔ Push-to-connect installation
When Do You Need a T-Fitting?
A T-fitting (1/4″ stem x 1/4″ OD Tubing x 1/4″ OD Tubing) is helpful if you are:
- Adding the inline filter to an existing 1/4″ RO line
- Want an easier install with a clean branch connection
- Installing between tubing lines without reworking your layout
✔ Optional accessory
✔ Makes installation easier for some setups
Not Sure Which Option to Choose?
- If unsure, select Universal Fit option (Included 4 elbow adapters for 1/4″ & 3/8″ OD Tubing Connection).
- Message us before ordering—we’re happy to help you pick the right fittings.
▶️ Video Installation Guidance
Because RO systems and plumbing layouts can vary, there are multiple valid ways to install an inline filter.
If you are unsure about your setup, we recommend:
- Searching YouTube for “inline RO filter installation”
- Watching a video that best matches your system type
(under-sink RO, countertop RO, post-filter installation, etc.)
Visual step-by-step videos can be very helpful and often make installation easier and faster.
Note: The filter is supplied with 1/4″ connections. Adapter fittings are included based on the selected option.
