Description
Inline Sediment Water Filter – 5 Micron (2″ × 10″)
This premium inline sediment filter is designed to capture common particles such as
rust, sand, dirt, silt, and suspended solids. Used as the first-stage pre-filter,
it helps protect downstream cartridges and can extend the life of your RO membrane by reducing sediment buildup.
Built with a durable inline body and a compact 2″ × 10″ format, it’s a reliable, cost-effective upgrade for
countertop RO and many traditional under-sink RO setups that use 1/4″ tubing.
(2) 1/4″ push-to-connect elbow adapters for easy installation with standard RO tubing.

Recommended Use
- As a first-stage sediment pre-filter in countertop RO systems
- In many traditional under-sink RO systems using 1/4″ tubing (verify your setup and space)
- Where sediment reduction is needed to help protect downstream filters and improve system longevity
Replacement frequency depends on feed water quality. If you notice reduced flow or visible discoloration,
replacement may be needed sooner.

🔧Installation Tips
Tubing Size
- Most RO systems use 1/4″ OD tubing (standard RO size).
- Some countertop RO systems and specialty setups use 3/8″ OD tubing.
- Tubing size refers to the outside diameter (OD) of the tube.
When Do You Need Elbow Adapters?
- Select 3/8″ OD Tubing if your system uses larger tubing.
- We include 2 elbow adapters to connect the inline filter to 3/8″ OD tubing.
✔ No tools required
✔ Push-to-connect installation
When Do You Need a T-Fitting?
A T-fitting (1/4″ stem x 1/4″ OD Tubing x 1/4″ OD Tubing) is helpful if you are:
- Adding the inline filter to an existing 1/4″ RO line
- Want an easier install with a clean branch connection
- Installing between tubing lines without reworking your layout
✔ Optional accessory
✔ Makes installation easier for some setups
Not Sure Which Option to Choose?
- If unsure, select Universal Fit option (Included 4 elbow adapters for 1/4″ & 3/8″ OD Tubing Connection)
- Message us before ordering—we’re happy to help you pick the right fittings.
▶️ Video Installation Guidance
Because RO systems and plumbing layouts can vary, there are multiple valid ways to install an inline filter.
If you are unsure about your setup, we recommend:
- Searching YouTube for “inline RO filter installation”
- Watching a video that best matches your system type
(under-sink RO, countertop RO, post-filter installation, etc.)
Visual step-by-step videos can be very helpful and often make installation easier and faster.
