Description
NSF/ANSI 42/58/61 certified 3/8″ OD polyethylene tubing for reverse osmosis systems, inline filters, and water filtration. Flexible, kink-resistant, suitable for potable water. Available in 3, 5, 10, 25, and 50-foot lengths.
What it does
This 3/8″ OD polyethylene tubing is the larger-diameter companion to the 1/4″ tubing used in most countertop RO systems. The wider bore allows higher flow rates with less pressure drop — making it the standard choice for under-sink RO main lines, pressure-tank connections, and any run where flow volume matters.
NSF/ANSI certified to three standards: 61 (material safety for potable water contact), 58 (RO system use), and 42 (no taste or odor contribution). Push it into any standard 3/8″ quick-connect fitting for a secure, tool-free connection. Cut to length as needed.
Key benefits
- ✓3/8″ OD — higher flow than 1/4″ tubing, less pressure drop

Often used with
Good to know before you buy
- Always cut tubing square (90°) before inserting into a push-fit fitting. A tubing cutter makes this easy and prevents leaks.
- Push tubing fully into the fitting until it seats. Give it a gentle tug to confirm.
- Avoid kinks — route tubing in smooth curves. If you need a tight 90° turn, use a 3/8″ elbow fitting instead of bending the tube.
- To disconnect, press the collet ring and pull the tube straight out.
- Cold water only — do not use with water above 100 °F.
