What it does

This union connects two pieces of 1/4″ OD tubing in a straight, inline joint. Both ends are push-to-connect — there’s no thread and no port — so it’s the go-to part for extending a tubing run, repairing a cut or kinked line, or making a clean serviceable connection in an RO or inline filter setup.

Cut both tube ends square, push each into the union until it seats, and you’re done — no tools, no tape. • Cut both tube ends square (90°) before inserting. An angled or ragged cut is the most common cause of leaks. A tubing cutter makes this easy.
• Push each tube fully into the union until it seats. A firm push past the initial resistance locks it in. Give each tube a gentle tug to confirm it’s held.
• To remove a tube: press and hold the collet ring flat against the union, then pull the tube straight out.
• Make sure both tubes are genuine 1/4″ OD — 3/8″ tubing will not fit this union.
• Rated for cold water only — residential drinking-water systems, not hot-water or high-pressure lines.
