What it does

This Omnipure K2548 calcite acid neutralizer gently raises the pH of acidic, low-pH water using natural calcite (crushed white marble) media. As the calcite slowly dissolves, it neutralizes acidity — delivering a more balanced, less corrosive, better-tasting result.

Commonly installed as a final stage on RO and drinking-water systems, or wherever incoming water is acidic. Made in the USA by Omnipure. Because it works by dissolving calcite, it also adds a small amount of calcium to the water.

Installation & connection

• Install as a final stage, especially where incoming water is acidic (low pH).
• Select your tubing size; remove the end caps and screw on the included elbow adapters.
• Push tubing into each adapter until seated.
• Replace every 6–12 months; if pH improvement fades, replace the filter.
• Best suited to genuinely acidic water — check your pH first with a meter.
