What it does

This is a bulk refill for a 3-stage slim (10″×2.5″) filtration system — six complete sets in one box, so you buy years of filtration at once and never scramble for a replacement. Each set has three matched stages: sediment catches the grit, GAC handles the bulk of chlorine, taste, odor, and VOCs at high flow, and the carbon block gives a final fine polish before water reaches your home.

How long does six sets last? At the typical 6–12 month replacement interval, six sets cover roughly 3 years if you change every 6 months, and up to 6 years if you change annually — so think of it as a multi-year supply rather than a fixed number. Dirtier water shortens it; clean municipal water stretches it.

The value is in the volume: at $99 for six sets, that’s about $16.50 per set versus buying them one at a time. All cartridges fit standard 10″ × 2.5″ housings — the same size used in most under-sink RO and slim whole-house systems with a 3/4″ port.

Key benefits

  • Six complete 3-stage sets — a multi-year supply in one box
  • Best per-set value — about $16.50/set vs buying singly
  • Removes sediment, rust & scale particles (Stage 1)
  • Double carbon — bulk GAC + fine-polish block reduce chlorine, taste, odor & VOCs
  • Never run out — no last-minute reorders
  • Fits standard 10″×2.5″ under-sink RO & slim whole-house systems

Is this the right pack for you?

Your situation Best choice
3-stage slim (10″×2.5″) system on city water — want to stock up This 6-set pack (3UF18)
Just need one set right now The single 3-stage set (buy 1, or use quantity pricing)
City water on chloramine (check your utility’s report) A catalytic-carbon set — standard GAC/CTO don’t reduce chloramine
Big Blue 10″×4.5″ system (not slim) The Big Blue 3-stage set (SGC-10BB) — different housing size
Iron stains, rotten-egg odor, fluoride or scale concerns Add a specialty cartridge (iron, catalytic+KDF, bone char, scale)

Good to know before you buy

Confirm your housing size first. These are slim 10″×2.5″ cartridges (9⅞″ × 2.5″). If your housings are the wider Big Blue 10″×4.5″, this set won’t seal — you’d want the Big Blue 3-stage set instead.

Install in flow order. Sediment first (inlet side), GAC second, carbon block third. Out of order, the carbon stages clog with grit and wear out early.

On chloramine? This isn’t the set. Standard GAC and carbon block reduce chlorine well but not chloramine — that needs catalytic carbon. If your city uses chloramine (its annual water report will say), choose a catalytic-carbon set.

Store the spares cool and dry. Keep unused cartridges sealed in their wrap, out of sunlight, until it’s their turn — carbon cartridges especially keep best unopened.

Flush on each change. Run water to drain a few minutes after installing new carbon — it releases harmless fines at first.

Please note: Filter life and reduction performance depend on your water chemistry, pressure, and usage, so results vary from home to home. When in doubt, test your water or ask us and we’ll help you build the right stack.
