Description
A 5-micron inline sediment filter in a semiclear housing — the semiclear body lets you see the filter and monitor when it needs changing. Reduces dirt, silt, sand, rust, and scale particles. 10″ × 2″ standard inline size, 1/4″ quick-connect.
What it does
This inline sediment filter uses a 5-micron media to reduce suspended particles — dirt, silt, sand, rust flakes, and scale — from your water line. As the first stage in a filtration setup, it protects downstream carbon and RO stages from clogging with particulate.
The semiclear housing is the distinguishing feature: you can see the sediment building up inside, so you know when it’s time to replace it rather than guessing on a schedule. Ideal for well water or any supply with visible particulate.

Installation & connection
- Install as the first stage (before carbon and RO) so it protects downstream filters.
- Push 1/4″ OD tubing into each quick-connect port until seated.
- Check the semiclear body periodically — replace when you see heavy sediment buildup or flow drops.
- Note flow direction if marked on the housing.
- Check for leaks before putting the system into service.
