What it does

This Omnipure GAC T33 filter with KDF-55 media combines granular activated carbon with ½ lb of KDF-55 for enhanced contaminant reduction beyond a standard carbon filter. KDF-55 works through a redox (oxidation-reduction) process that is effective at reducing water-soluble heavy metals and helps inhibit the growth of bacteria, algae, and fungi within the filter.

Designed as an enhanced final stage in RO systems where extra heavy-metal reduction is wanted. NSF certified, made in USA by Omnipure. Ships with 1/4″ elbow adapters; 3/8″ and universal options available.

Installation & connection

• Install as an enhanced final stage, after the RO membrane.
• Remove the end caps and screw on the included elbow adapters (1/4″, 3/8″, or universal).
• Push tubing into each adapter until seated.
• Replace every 6–12 months.
• Flush for a few minutes on first use to clear carbon fines.
