• Wrench end: grip the membrane housing cap and turn counter-clockwise to loosen, clockwise to tighten. Moderate force — don’t over-torque on reassembly.
• Guaranteed fit for MWC systems (2020–2026). On third-party housings, the wrench fits many but not all designs — housing shape and diameter vary by manufacturer.
• Keep this tool with your RO system — you’ll use it every time you replace the membrane (typically every 24 months).
• If you also have a standalone collet release tool, the built-in one on this wrench is a convenient backup but the standalone gives better reach in tight spots.
