This is our deepest bulk refill for a 2-stage (dual) slim 10″×2.5″ system — twelve complete sets, built around the premium coconut-shell carbon block. Stage 1 sediment catches the grit; Stage 2 coconut carbon gives the best taste-and-odor polishing in our slim range, a step above the standard carbon block. Buy once, and filtration is handled for the better part of a decade.
How long does twelve sets last? It’s marketed as a “3-year supply,” which assumes a change roughly every three months on heavier water. At the more typical 6–12 month interval, twelve sets cover about 6 to 12 years — effectively a lifetime supply for many systems. Your water and usage set the pace.
It’s also the best value per set we offer: at $85 for twelve sets, about $7.08 per set — lower than any smaller pack, premium or standard. All cartridges fit standard 10″ × 2.5″ housings used in most dual whole-house and under-sink systems with a 3/4″ port.
What this set targets — and what it isn’t built for.
This is a lot of filtration. Twelve sets is a near-lifetime supply for many homes — buy it if you’re set on this system long-term and have somewhere cool and dry to store the spares. If that’s more than you want to hold, the 8-set or 4-set premium packs step down cleanly.
Confirm your housing size first. These are slim 10″×2.5″ cartridges (9⅞″ × 2.5″). Big Blue 10″×4.5″ housings need the wider set instead — this one won’t seal.
Install in flow order. Sediment first (inlet side), carbon block second. Reversed, the carbon clogs with grit and wears out early.
On chloramine? This isn’t the set. Carbon block reduces chlorine well but not chloramine — that needs catalytic carbon. If your city uses chloramine (its annual water report will say), choose a catalytic set.
Store spares sealed, flush on each change. Keep unused cartridges in their wrap, cool and dry — carbon especially keeps best unopened — and run water to drain a few minutes after each change.
