What it does
This Omnipure DI mixed-bed filter (model K2555-JJ) produces deionized, ultra-pure water by removing the dissolved ionic contaminants (sodium, calcium, iron, copper, and more) that remain after reverse osmosis. It’s a post-RO polishing stage for applications needing very low TDS.
Filled with premium mixed-bed deionization resin in an NSF-certified, USA-made Omnipure housing. Ideal for countertop RO, aquariums/reef systems, and lab/technical water. This is the JJ batch code.

Installation & connection
- Install immediately after the RO membrane stage.
- DI life depends on feed TDS — feeding it low-TDS RO water maximizes lifespan.
- Push 1/4″ OD tubing into each port until seated.
- Replace when TDS output rises (a TDS meter confirms when it’s spent).
