Description
A straight quick-connect fitting that joins a 1/4″ MNPT threaded port to standard 1/4″ OD RO tubing — built-in O-ring seal, no Teflon tape, tool-free push-to-connect. Sold as a 2-pack.
What it does
This straight fitting connects a water filter, RO system, or inline component with a 1/4″ MNPT (male-threaded) port to standard 1/4″ OD tubing. The threaded side hand-tightens into the port; the quick-connect side accepts push-to-connect tubing — no tools, no tape.
The straight inline design carries the tube run straight through the fitting, ideal for direct connections where the tubing continues in the same direction. The built-in O-ring seals the threaded side, so you get a leak-free connection without PTFE (Teflon) tape.
Key benefits

Good to know before you buy
- Hand-tighten the threaded (MNPT) side only. Do not use a wrench — over-torquing cracks the plastic and defeats the O-ring seal. No PTFE (Teflon) tape is needed thanks to the built-in O-ring.
- Push the tubing fully into the quick-connect port until it seats. A firm push past the initial resistance locks it in. Give the tube a gentle tug to confirm it’s held.
- To remove tubing: press and hold the collet ring flat against the fitting, then pull the tube straight out.
- Make sure your tubing is genuine 1/4″ OD — 3/8″ tubing will not fit this fitting.
- Rated for cold water only — residential drinking-water systems, not hot-water or high-pressure lines.
