What it does

This mixed-size tee has three push-to-connect ports: two 1/4″ OD and one 3/8″ OD. It lets you branch a 3/8″ main line into two 1/4″ branches, or merge two 1/4″ lines into one 3/8″ — all in a single compact fitting.

Common in under-sink RO systems where the main supply runs 3/8″ but the RO stages use 1/4″ tubing. Also useful for adding a fridge or ice-maker branch off a 3/8″ line.
