Description
The correct hardware to mount Big Blue filter housings into any single, dual, or triple Big Blue mounting bracket — matched to the standard 5/16″ bracket hole pattern, 1″ length for full seat without over-penetration.
What it does
These are the 5/16″ × 1″ hex head screws that mount a Big Blue filter housing to a metal mounting bracket. They’re the same specification used on our single, dual, and triple Big Blue brackets — matched to standard Big Blue bracket hole spacing so they seat cleanly without wobble.
Sold as a 4-pack. Buy the right quantity for your install: a single-stage install typically needs 1 pack; a dual-stage install may need 1–2 packs; a triple-stage install typically needs 2–3 packs depending on your bracket. Check your bracket’s mounting-hole count before ordering.

Good to know before you buy
- Installation: Align the housing’s mounting flange with the bracket holes, insert screws through bracket into housing, and tighten evenly with a 5/16″ hex driver, socket, or wrench.
- Do not overtighten. Snug is enough — over-torquing can strip or damage the housing threads and lead to leaks under pressure.
- Quantity guide: figure roughly one 4-pack per housing you’re mounting. For a triple bracket install (3 housings), order 2–3 packs and keep any extras for future service.
- For wall mounting (attaching the bracket to the wall itself), use separate wall screws and anchors appropriate for your wall type — these screws are only for the bracket-to-housing connection.
- If a screw is difficult to seat, don’t force it — back it out, check alignment, and reseat. Cross-threaded screws will not hold pressure.
