What it does

This straight ball valve connects a 1/4″ MNPT threaded port (on a filter, housing, manifold, or supply valve) to 1/4″ OD tubing with a built-in shut-off. The threaded side screws into the port with PTFE tape; the push-fit side accepts tubing tool-free.

Use it wherever you need shut-off control at a threaded connection point — at the cold-water supply valve, at a filter manifold port, or anywhere you want to isolate a section without disconnecting tubing.
